FAQ

Answers, before you ask.

Do I need dental assisting experience before taking this course?+

Nope! This is an entry-level introduction to clinical orthodontic assisting. It's also great for TCs and front office team members who want to understand clinical terms and procedures so they can talk to patients with confidence.

How long does the course take?+

It's self-paced, with about 6 hours of content. How long it takes depends on how quickly you move through each module.

What skills will I learn?+

Orthodontic terminology, common appliances, and step-by-step overviews of bonding and other clinical procedures. The big focus is clear expectations and efficiency as a clinical orthodontic assistant.

Will I learn how to work with braces and aligners?+

Yes! You'll learn the foundations and best practices for both. The course doesn't include hands-on training, so assistants practice the clinical techniques in their own office.

Will this course give me an OAP license?+

No. An OAP license requires hands-on training, so this course doesn't provide one. But it is taught by an OAP-certified instructor!

Can I take the course while working full-time?+

Absolutely. It's on-demand and self-paced, so you can work through the modules whenever it fits. Lots of assistants do it during non-patient or non-doctor hours.

Is there support if I have questions?+

Yes. After completing the course, you'll be invited to the private twoCREW Alumni Facebook Group for ongoing support, collaboration, and questions with assistants across the country.

What does it cost, and can my whole team join?+

One flat $998 covers your entire office. Every assistant, plus your TC and front desk if they want in. No subscriptions, no per-seat fees, no extra costs.

How many CE credit hours, and who accepts them?+

6 CE hours per team member on completion. Dental Assistant 2 Orthodontic Assistant™ is PACE-approved through the joint program provider approval of UpScale Education, LLC and The Wyrick Outlook, so credits are recognized by AGD and most state dental boards. Certificates are issued digitally to each team member's email.

What happens after I register?+

The Monday after you register, you'll get a welcome email with your course portal login, your 90-day replay window starts, and your printed workbook ships to your office.

What if the course isn't the right fit?+

Please email info@thewyrickoutlook.com within 14 days of course completion if you are unhappy with your purchase.
